Spring Cleaning with GRATITUDE

Gratitude is where it all starts. Let's take a moment and light our Gratitude candle and reflect. What are you grateful for today?
We can express appreciation for all our experiences, both the positive and the negative.
You may wonder… How can I appreciate even negative experiences? These are the experiences that we learn the most from.
This is the first step in clearing out your mind, body and soul is through gratitude and acceptance for everything that has happened to you and those around you.
We do believe that everything happens for a reason, each experience, happy or sad moment. It all contributes to who you are. The question though is how do you manage all of these. The answer is quite simple. You have the power to reflect and grow with each situation.
A few of our favorite tips for spring cleaning involve our sage and mindful candles.
Burning sage, also known as smudging, is an ancient spiritual ritual. Beliefs that burning sage clears out spiritual impurities, pathogens, and even insects have been fundamental to the practice of smudging. It may help relieve the symptoms of asthma, bronchitis and other breathing concerns. Burning sage also has benefits of improving mood, reducing stress, dispelling negative energy, improving sleep, boosts cognition and energy levels.
- a sage bundle or palo santo sticks
- a geode, seashell or bowl of ceramic, clay, or glass to hold burning sage or capture ash
- matches to light the sage bundle
- optional feather or fan for fanning smoke
Burning Instructions:
Use a lighter to ignite your stick of Palo Santo or White Sage. Hold at about 45 degree angle pointing the tip down toward the flame. Allow it to burn about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then blow out.
Move around your workspace, home, car, bathroom, or anywhere you would like to clear the energy. Allow the scents to bring peace and clarity to the moment along with good feelings and intentions.
When finished, place the stick in a fire proof bowl. Always use caution and respect when working with fire. Do not leave unattended. Open a window or door to help circulate air flow and let our products gracefully touch your senses.

💚 I loved this method of spring cleaning. I was limited in thinking that spring cleaning was only referencing the physical space, but now I know that it’s so much more and meaningful. I loved this so so much.
